WinAPE allows you to save screen shots of the current running emulator screen. There is an option in General Settings to force the screen to be saved when the monitor is performing a frame-flyback to prevent tearing of the image.



Screenshots can be saved in many graphics formats including BMP, PCX, PNG, JPEG and TIFF, and can be saved as either full size of Half Size, and either full height or Half Height. Since Amstrad pixels are two pixels high and may be more than a single pixel wide depending on the current screen MODE, this can make the image files smaller.
